Mike’s Hard Lemonade: Heartbreaker

This is one of three commercials I created for my MFA thesis project at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Studies. At the time, Mike’s Hard Lemonade had a campaign going along these lines. It won a Young Directors Award at the Cannes International Advertising Festival, a Gold ADDY, and the Best in Show ADDY in 2005 and got a writeup in Ad Age. But, more importantly, it introduced me to Heather Weeks, who starred in another commercial of mine as well as my feature CLEW (aka MUSE).
